Q: How many divisions are there?
A: We have FOUR divisions!

Q: What is the age limit and requirements for Miss Teen Galaxy Australia?
A: 14 – 18 years of age (must be at least 15 as of July 1st 2025), never married, must not have had any children, must be an Australian resident.

Q: What is the age limit and requirements for Miss Galaxy Australia?
A: 19 - 27 years of age (as of July 1st 2025), must not be married, can be divorced, can have children, must be an Australian resident.
Q: What is the age limit and requirements for Ms. Galaxy Australia?
A: 28+ years of age (as of July 1st 2025), must not be married, can be divorced, can have children, must be an Australian resident.

Q: What is the age limit and requirements for Mrs. Galaxy Australia?
A: 19+ years of age (as of July 1st 2025), must be legally married, must not be separated, divorced or in the process of divorce, can have children & must be an Australian resident.

Q: What are the areas of competition?
A: There are five areas of competition - Interview, Photogenic, Fashionwear, Swimwear & Evening Gown. Bonus points are awarded for charity fundraising, Eco Fashion & community & media appearances too!
PLEASE NOTE: there is NO Swimwear competition for the Teen division.

Q: Do you have to wear a bikini?
A: You can wear whatever swimsuit style or colour that you are most comfortable and confident in. The swimwear round is about letting your inner confidence and beauty shine through. Swimwear judging takes place off stage, prior to the live National Final, to ease any additional nerves!​
PLEASE NOTE: there is NO Swimwear competition for the Teen division.

Q: Is there a height or weight requirement to apply?
A: No! We encourage delegates of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds to apply.
Q: Can you still compete if you have children?
A: Absolutely! Our Miss, Ms & Mrs delegates are all still eligible to compete whether or not they have children.

Q: What charity do you fundraise for?
A: We are proud to partner with Australian youth mental health charity, batyr. All delegates who choose to fundraise for batyr are eligible for the Miss Teen, Miss, Ms. & Mrs. Charity special award titles at the National Final!

Q: What is the application process?
Phase 1: Applicants complete the short entry form on our website
Phase 2: The AGP team reviews all applications for our National Finalist Shortlist. Successful shortlisted applicants will be notified via email
Phase 3: Shortlisted applicants will undergo a brief telephone interview with a member of the AGP team
Phase 4: Successful applicants will be notified via email if they have been selected as a National Finalist!

Q: What do you ask in the telephone interview?
A: We know interviews can feel a little scary, but we promise it is nothing to worry about! The telephone interview is a chance for the AGP team to get to know you a little better and for you to share why you want to join our #GalaxyGirl sisterhood and what you want to get out of this incredible opportunity.

Q: When will I hear back about my application?
A: Successful applicants will be contacted via email. As we have a high volume of entries to process, please allow up to 4 weeks to hear back about your application.
NOTE: Be sure to check your junk mail to avoid missing any exciting emails!​
Q: How much does it cost to apply?
A: There is no cost to apply!

Q: Do you have to have previous pageant experience to apply?
A: No! We welcome pageant newbies and veterans alike. Some of our past winners had never entered a pageant before and went on to win the national title on their first go!

Q: Do you have to submit professional photos with your application?
A: No! Your headshot and full-length images do not need to be professional photos; we simply ask that you provide clear and current images and avoid using excessive filters and editing or submitting images with other people in them.​​​

Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: If your application is successful, there is a non-refundable registration fee of $50 to reserve your spot in the competition.

Q: What date is the pageant?
A: Our 2025 National Final will take place from April 30 - May 3, 2025!
Our Crowning Gala will be held on Saturday, May 3rd with our official winners' photoshoot taking place on Sunday, May 4th.

Q: Where is the pageant held?
A: Our 2025 National Final will be held at the incredible Bankstown Sports Club in Sydney, NSW!

Q: What will I gain from participating in the pageant?
A: We aim to provide our delegates with a platform to become the best possible version of themselves. Through participating in the pageant, you will have the opportunity to boost your self-confidence & learn new skills that you can take with you beyond the pageant stage. You will have a platform to raise awareness and advocate for causes you are passionate about, connect with like-minded women from across the country, make friendships to last a lifetime, have the opportunity to represent Australia on the Galaxy International Pageant® stage, and so much more! Q: When do entries close?
A: Applications will close on November 30 or as soon as we reach our application capacity. This differs from state to state and by division, so we advise all interested applicants to submit their application promptly to avoid disappointment.
