MEET THE DIRECTOR
Australia Galaxy Pageants was founded in 2011 by Lucinda Ferguson. In 2019 Lucinda officially handed over the reins to her former Miss Galaxy Australia 2016 & Miss Galaxy 2017, Shikye Alyce Smith.

After many years of assisting behind the scenes, Shikye was thrilled to step into the National Director role and loves sharing her wealth of knowledge with the Australia Galaxy Pageants delegates. As a former Australia Galaxy Pageants delegate herself, everything Shikye does is with her #GalaxyGirls at the forefront of her mind. She is dedicated to providing an incredible experience and opportunity for all delegates to "be the best version of you."

Shikye made history as the first woman of colour to win the Miss Galaxy Australia title and again in Orlando, becoming the first Australian to win the coveted International Miss Galaxy title. With over a decade of experience in the fashion and entertainment industry, Shikye has worked with various designers on the runway and in front of the camera. She has also performed on a variety of stages around the world as a professional singer and dancer, and it felt only fitting for this to be the next step in her pageant journey.

In 2023, Shikye was the only Australian to be recognised internationally as one of the top 10 National Directors in the Pageant Planet Best in Pageantry Awards. As the only National Director in Australia who is a former National and International titleholder of their system, Australia Galaxy delegates and Queens can be sure they are in the best hands to guide them on their journey.
